The Government of the Federal Republic of WolvHaven (also referred to as the WolvHaven Government, or the Federal Government) is the government of the Federal Republic of WolvHaven, a federal semi-presidential constitutional republic.

Legislative Branch

The Legislature makes the laws and supervises the activities of the other two arms with a view to changing the laws when appropriate. The WolvHaven Parliament is bicameral, consisting of the President of WolvHaven, a 9-member Senate and a 17-member House of Representatives.

Senate

Senate is a group of specially selected members based on their expertise by the President himself. Most members of the Senate are admins of the server. The job of the Senate is to scrutinize any of the bills passed by the House of Representatives and make amendments or recommendations to the bill. Should there be disagreement, the Senate has the power to remove the bill.

House of Representatives

House of Representatives is a democratically elected body whose members are known as Members of Parliament (MPs) which is elected using Party-List Proportionate voting system. Also, since 2015, citizens of WolvHaven may come in and speak/vote on issues. They are known as independents as they provide an independent perspective on issues, away from the clutches of party whips.

Executive Branch

Head of State

The President of WolvHaven, currently SilverWolv, who is also the Owner of the server. He has the power to veto any passed bills and introduce temporary laws to tackle any emergency situations that may concern the server. Should the temporary law be made permanent, it will have to go through the House of Representatives and the Senate. The president may, with the approval of the council, declare a state of emergency. During a state of emergency, the president may assume emergency powers with the approval of the council. These powers shall authorise the president to assume absolute authority. The President represents Wolvhaven inter-serverly, making and receiving server visits.

Executive Council

The Executive Council (ExCo), consist of the President of WolvHaven and Admins and Staffs of the WolvHaven, is a formal body which is granted power to legally enact Acts of the Parliament of WolvHaven and has the last approval of laws passed by Parliament. The Executive Council can veto any laws passed by Parliament and also vote may be called to resolve the dispute when there is a dispute. The Council may, in the interest of national security, execute preventive bans against players that pose a credible threat against the server or its citizens.

Cabinet

The Cabinet of WolvHaven is the senior Ministers of the President, responsible to the Federal Parliament. The ministers are appointed by the President, on the advice of the Prime Minister, who serve at the former's pleasure.

Judical Branch

Federal judicial power is vested in the High Court of WolvHaven. The Supreme Court is the high court in WolvHaven has the jurisdiction to hear appeals on matters of both federal and state law. It has both original and appellate jurisdiction, the power of judicial review over laws passed by Federal and State Parliaments
