Shaftèrè d'yEmiliy is a multi-server company specialising in many things, including railway systems, convenience stores and fast food restaurants. To date, 12 MaruMarts (Shaftèrè d'yEmiliy's convenience store) and 4 Yoshiyamayas (Shaftèrè d'yEmiliy's fast food restaurant) has been built. The company also owns the Carrington Metro, officially branded as "Line 9x", and rolls out railway solutions to other companies once in a while. The company plans to stay innovative in the platform screen door and railway signal market.

History

As Emmaru Tetsudō

When Shaftèrè d'yEmiliy first started, it was known as Emmaru Tetsudō (Japanese: 円丸鉄道), or Entetsu for short (Japanese: 円鉄), mainly specialising in railway solutions. It is important to note that Emmaru Tetsudō predates Mineshafter61's ownership of Carrington, hence its name has no connections to the city of Carrington.

Entetsu's first project was to establish itself as a company. Firstly, it went around the cities in Gardellia, promising to "fix the cities' metro systems". However, since most WolvHaveners did not recognise the company, most requests were turned down. The second tactic Entetsu used was to build a café catering to the massive railtard population of WolvHaven, and it was a semi-success, opening up 7 Entetsu Shops over the northern regions of Gardellia. Since the café did not gather enough support from the community, the name was changed twice, first to MaruMart and Railtartcafe and again back to Entetsu Store.

Restructuring

Due to Emmaru Tetsudō not earning revenue in Gardellia, the company decided to change its name to Shaftèrè d'yEmiliy in order to attract more customers. The owner of the company, Mineshafter61 (also known as Mike), decided to change its name to what it is today, and also rebrand most of its franchises. Firstly, Entetsu Store was renamed to MaruMart and Cafe. Secondly, EntetsuVend was renamed to ShafterVend. Finally, Emmaru Tetsudō (now just the railway franchise) was given an official English name, Emmaru Railways, and it was split up into two departments, Emmaru Railways (which does most of the work of the company) and Entetsu of Gardellia (which runs the railways in Gardellia only).

The restructuring was a major success and there are almost twice as many MaruMarts now.
